About Richmond Motor Group

Richmond Motor Group is a family run business which started from one dealership in Portsmouth. Since then, it has grown to a multi-site dealer group with 11 dealerships across the South Coast including Portsmouth, Southampton, Guildford, Fareham and Botley. Richmond Motor Group represents Hyundai, ŠKODA, Citroen, MG, Suzuki, Mitsubishi and DS Automobiles in new and used car and van models. A wide range of manufacturer-approved Aftersales services including servicing, repairs, MOTs, service plans and parts are also available at the Richmond Motor Group dealerships. In addition to this, assistance with Motability, company fleet and van or car leasing is offered across all of their dealerships.

As well as their Hyundai, ŠKODA, Citroen, MG, Suzuki and Mitsubishi dealerships, Richmond Motor Group also operates a used car dealership (Hampshire Car Sales) and a used van dealership (UK Van Supermarket).

I would not recommend Richmond Citroen Portsmouth because the car wasn’t ready as agreed the salesman took over an hour flaring about we went away for lunch, the car was registered In my name but I made it clear it was my daughters car this was deceitful the whole process was poor no explanation as to why we were being left waiting the worst car purchase ever even my daughter thought the sales guy was an incompetent.

The atmosphere at the site was very nice. Clean and fresh. The staff were very pleasant too. I was handled by Adnan who did an outstanding job from start to finish. All the other staff on the premises were just as nice and always acknowledged me. The questions I needed answering were given to me and I would recommend this dealership any day. Infact am a first time customer but I might even turn into a returning customer. Time will tell but over all, I was well pleased with the service I was given.

Very bad the way how to talk the two managers,the sale person agree he will give me a free floor matting and £15 petrol on the the I pick up my car.end up no floor matting and only £10 petrol very disappointed!!!

Richmond Hyundai Southampton were really helpful and I'd recommend them because every part of the purchase was made easy and explained fully , my only problem was the initial handover day had to be changed even though I had a text the day before to remind me not to miss it , but it was rebooked for 3 days later in the evening after work , so not ideal but all was great at the handover so very happy .

Great service from start to finish. Our salesperson was Marius who was very friendly and knowledgeable throughout every stage of the process. With previous experiences of visiting car dealerships generally involving the stereotypical pushy salesperson, MG Guildford offered a refreshing change with the focus being much more on great customer service and valuing the customer. At no point during the process did we feel pressured into buying a car, however we were very well informed and with the help of Marius we happily purchased a great car for the family. I would not hesitate in recommending MG Guildford.
